What we do with your information

This page explains what we collect, how we use it, who else handles it and what your choices are. We use analytics and advertising measurement on this site. We do not sell information about you.

Effective August 17, 2026

What we collect

When you book. Your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and a pickup address if it is different, the dates, delivery window, totes and add-ons you chose, delivery notes, the amounts you paid and a record of when you agreed to the rental terms. We also save how you heard about us and a note of the ad or website that sent you, which is described under measurement below.

When you send a message or ask for a quote. Your name, email address and what you asked for, plus your phone number and ZIP code when you ask for a quote.

When we send a review request. We keep your email address and whether you unsubscribed, so an unsubscribe sticks.

When you start checkout or send us a form. Our server uses your internet address to limit repeated attempts. That count lives only in the server's short-term memory, never in our database. Our website host and our admin sign-in service also see your internet address when you visit, as described under who we share it with.

What we do not collect. We never see or store your card number. You pay on Stripe's own payment page, and what comes back to us is an order reference and Stripe's payment codes. You never create an account or password with us.

How we use it

We use what you give us to deliver and collect your totes, to answer you and to see which advertising brings in bookings.

We send one confirmation email, one review request after pickup with a one-click unsubscribe link and any quote you asked for. Unsubscribing never blocks your confirmation, which is part of your order. We have no newsletter and no marketing list.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use tools from Google and Meta to learn whether our ads bring in bookings. Here is what each one sees.

Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records which pages you visit, which tote package you view or choose, whether the ZIP code you enter is in our service area or not (only the result, never the ZIP code itself), whether you start checkout, whether you send us an enquiry or tap our phone number and whether an order is placed and for how much. Google sets its own cookies and says its tools receive the address of the page you are visiting and your IP address. Google explains more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google Ads counts a paid booking as a conversion using that data.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API.The Pixel records page activity, checkout starts, order value and which package. It sets Meta's own cookies to do that. When an order is paid, our server also sends Meta one copy of that purchase event: the order value, the order number, what was ordered (tote count, rental length and price), our confirmation page address, Meta's own browser identifiers and your browser type. It never carries your name, email address, phone number or address. Meta uses what it receives to measure our ads and to help decide which ads you see on Facebook and Instagram. Meta explains its side in its Cookies Policy.

Where you came from. When you arrive from an ad or another website, your browser keeps a note of the campaign link, including any Google or Meta click code, the page you landed on and the site that sent you, for 30 days. If you book, that note is saved with your order, along with your browser type and, if Meta's Pixel is running, Meta's own cookie identifiers. The note is not a cookie. It reaches us with your order and nobody else, except that a Meta click code in it and Meta's identifiers go back to Meta with the purchase event above.

None of this sends your name, email address, phone number or delivery address to Google or Meta.

Opting out. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or opt out of interest-based ads from Meta and other participating companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance's optout.aboutads.info. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can also limit how Meta uses information from businesses like us in the ad settings inside Accounts Center. You can also book by phone or email. None of this affects your price or your booking.

Cookies and similar storage

Google Analytics and Google Ads set their own cookies for the measurement above, and the Meta Pixel does the same if it is running. We set no advertising cookies of our own. The rest come from the sign-in system for the owner's admin area, which runs on every page and records that nobody is signed in. Those are not used to track customers, and customers never sign in.

A few things live in your browser's own storage rather than in cookies, including your booking form progress, which is cleared once your booking confirms, and the 30 day note about where you came from.

Our Cookie Policy lists every one of them by name, says who sets it and how long it lasts, and explains how to turn them off.

Who we share it with

Inside CarryMore, only the owner sees your information, and that is the same person who delivers your totes. Bookings appear in a private admin area, an email copy of every order and a weekly summary go to that same address, and those records can be exported as a spreadsheet. Nobody else at CarryMore has access.

A small number of outside companies process data for us. Each one receives only what it needs and uses it to provide its service to us:

  • Payments. Stripe takes your payment on its own page and holds your card details under its own privacy policy. We pass Stripe your email address and order number so the payment matches your order.
  • Email delivery. The service that sends our email handles your email address and what those emails say.
  • Hosting and database. Our website host keeps ordinary request logs, which can include your internet address. Our database, which holds booking and quote details, is in the United States.
  • Error monitoring. When something on the site breaks, a report describing the page address, the browser and what went wrong goes to a monitoring service. We have turned off the settings that would attach personal details, and we do not record your screen or your session.
  • Admin sign-in. The service that signs the owner into the admin area holds no booking data, and customers never sign in. Its software does load on our public pages, so it sees your internet address when you visit.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement. Google (Analytics 4, Tag Manager and Ads) and Meta (Pixel and Conversions API), as described above. Unlike the others, Google and Meta also use what their tools collect under their own privacy policies, including to decide which ads to show.

We do not sell information about you, and we do not give your contact details to anyone for their advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, order and quote records as long as we need them to run the business and meet our tax and accounting obligations, then clear out what we no longer need. Messages sent through our contact form reach us as email and are not saved in our database. Unsubscribe records stay as long as we send review requests, so we never email someone who asked us not to.

Your choices and rights

Email, call or text us and ask. We will show you what we have about you, fix anything that is wrong and delete what we hold, apart from records we must keep for tax, payment or dispute reasons. We answer these ourselves, usually within a few days. If you think we got it wrong, say so and we will look at it again. To stop review request emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email.

Children

You must be 18 or older to book. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has booked, contact us and we will delete the record.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the date on it. We will not quietly start doing something this policy says we do not do.
