Rental terms
The terms of your rental
Plain English, no fine print games. This is what we do, what we ask of you, and what happens when something goes sideways.

Who this agreement is between
These terms are between you, the person booking, and CarryMore Tote Rental LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Corpus Christi, TX. They take effect July 26, 2026.
Totes means the reusable moving totes we deliver. Equipment means anything else you rent with them that comes back to us, like a dolly. Your rental means the totes, dates, and address on your confirmation email.
What we do, and what we do not do
We deliver empty totes to your address. You pack them, use them for the length you booked, and empty them out. When your rental ends we come back to the same address and collect them. Delivery and pickup are included in every price on our booking page.
We rent totes. We are not a moving service. We never pack, lift, load, or transport anything that belongs to you, and we handle the totes only when they are empty. If you need packed totes moved from one place to another, that is not something we do, and no add-on changes it.
We pick up from the address we delivered to. If you need pickup somewhere else inside our service area, ask before pickup day. A different address works only if we agree to it first.
Checking the box is how you accept these terms
There is one box to check and nothing to sign. On the booking page, right before you pay, you tick a box to agree to these terms and our privacy policy. You cannot continue to payment until you tick it.
Ticking that box also confirms two things: that you are at least 18, and that you are authorized to book for the delivery address you give us.
The effective date at the top of this page tells you which version is live, and that version applies to every rental booked on or after that date. A change we make later does not reach back to a booking already made. If you have a question about the terms of your rental, ask us and we will walk you through it.
Your rental period
Your rental runs from the day we deliver through the day we pick up. Both dates are on your confirmation email.
The booking page currently offers rentals of one to four weeks. Those are the lengths we run today. If you need longer, ask us and we will quote it.
You pick an evening delivery slot when you book, and your confirmation shows it. Pickup is confirmed as a date, and we work out the timing with you as the day gets close. If we are running behind, we will try to reach you by call or text.
Changing your dates
Plans move. Tell us at least 24 hours before the date you want to change and we will reschedule it for free. Inside 24 hours we will still try, but the evening may already be routed and we cannot promise it.
Text or email is the best way to reach us about a change, because it stamps the time.
Canceling
Cancel at least 24 hours before your delivery date and you get back everything you paid. There is no cancellation fee.
A cancellation later than that, or on delivery day once we have loaded up and left, is handled case by case. We may charge for the trip or refund you in full, and we will tell you which before anything is charged.
We start refunds as soon as we can, usually within a few business days. After that the timing belongs to Stripe and your bank, which is normally another 5 to 10 business days.
If you finish early and want the totes gone sooner, say so and we will come if we can. We do not refund unused days on a rental that has already started, because those totes were held for your dates and out of stock for everyone else.
If we fall short
If we do not deliver, or the totes we bring are not usable, we will make it right. That means rescheduling quickly or refunding what you paid for that rental, and we will work it out with you.
Bad weather and unsafe roads can force us to move a delivery or a pickup. When that happens we will reach you as early as we can and agree on a new time. A reschedule we cause is free, and if the new date does not work for you and we have not delivered yet, cancel and we will refund you in full.
Taking care of the totes
Use the totes for household and office packing and storage. Pack them so you can lift them comfortably, do not overload them, stack them in a way that stays stable, and spread the weight inside instead of loading one side.
Please keep out anything hazardous, flammable, corrosive, illegal, or alive, and anything wet or perishable. If you pack pantry items, seal them. Do not write on the totes, paint them, drill them, stand on them, or stick on anything that will not come off.
Return them reasonably empty. You do not need to scrub them. Emptying them out is enough, and we clean between rentals.
Delivery day and pickup day
On delivery day, have someone 18 or older there to meet us, or tell us in the delivery notes where to leave the totes. If you ask us to leave them with nobody home, they are yours to look after from the moment we set them down.
On pickup day we come to the agreed address and collect them. Have them empty and reachable: by the door, in the garage, wherever we agreed. You do not need to be home if we can get to them.
If we arrive as scheduled and cannot deliver or cannot collect, because nobody is there, we cannot get access, or the totes are not where we agreed, we will contact you first. A return trip is $25, and you will never see that charge without hearing from us about it.
Keeping the totes longer
If your move slips, tell us. We would rather move your pickup date than charge you anything, and asking costs nothing. There is no automatic late fee.
If you want the totes past your end date, ask before pickup day and we will quote the extra weeks at our normal rates. If someone is booked on those totes right after you, we will tell you that and work out the fastest handoff we can.
A tote is not unreturned just because pickup day moved. It counts as unreturned only after we have tried to reach you and could not arrange to get it back.
Damaged, lost, or unreturned totes
Normal wear from an ordinary move is not damage. Scuffs, scratches, and the marks totes pick up from being packed and carried cost you nothing.
You are responsible for damage or loss that comes from misuse, from neglect, or from not taking reasonable care. You are not responsible for something outside your control when you were not at fault. A storm that floods the garage is not your fault. Leaving the totes on the curb for a week is. If something outside your control happens, tell us promptly and share what documentation you reasonably can, and we carry the loss.
A tote that does not come back, or comes back damaged beyond repair, is $35. That is the whole charge for that tote.
Equipment like a dolly comes back to us too, and this section covers it the same way. If a piece of equipment is lost or ruined, we will contact you to sort it out before anything is charged.
Add-ons that get used up, like packing supplies, are yours once we hand them over. There is nothing to return, and none of this section applies to them.
We do not keep your card on file and we cannot charge it again. Anything you owe after your rental arrives as an itemized invoice, with photos where there is something to show you. Anything else that can come up, like extra weeks you ask for or sales tax on your order, is quoted or shown to you before it applies.
What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We are responsible for delivering and picking up the totes we agreed to, in usable condition, on the dates we confirmed.
The totes are containers, and containers are all we provide. We are not responsible for what you put in them, how you pack them, or how you stack, carry, or lift them, and we are not responsible for what happens to your belongings while you have the totes. We never see, pack, or transport what goes inside one. If you want your things covered while you move, arrange that yourself.
If something goes wrong with your rental, the most we owe you is what you paid us for that rental. We are not responsible for knock-on losses such as lost income or the cost of a delayed move.
That limit has real exceptions and we want you to know them. It does not apply to personal injury, to harm caused by our own negligence, to gross negligence or anything done on purpose, or to anything the law does not let us limit. It does not take away the rights Texas law gives you as a consumer, including under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the state law that protects you from false, misleading, or deceptive business practices.
Where we deliver
We deliver and pick up in a set of Corpus Christi ZIP codes. The current list is on our FAQ page and our contact page. The booking form checks your ZIP before you can pay, so an address outside the area cannot be booked by mistake. If yours is not on the list, send us a message. The area grows over time.
Paying
You pay online at booking, by card, through Stripe's secure checkout. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches this site. Every amount is shown before you pay, delivery and pickup included, and your card is charged once. If sales tax applies to your order, it is its own line before you pay.
We do not store your card, and we cannot charge it again after checkout.
Your information
We collect what we need to rent to you: your name, phone, email, delivery address, and your order. We do not sell it. Stripe handles your payment and your card number under its own terms. The whole story is in our privacy policy.
After pickup we send one email asking for an honest review. Everybody gets it, whatever they thought of us, and the unsubscribe link works in one click.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. When we do, we change the effective date at the top, and the updated terms apply to rentals booked on or after that date. An update does not change a booking you already made. If you are unsure what your rental covers, ask us and we will explain it.
Governing law
Texas law governs these terms. To the extent Texas law allows, a court case between us may be brought in Nueces County, Texas.
Questions
This is the current version of our terms, and it is the whole agreement about your rental unless we agree to something else in writing. If any part of it turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If anything here is unclear, ask before you book. Asking costs nothing.
